Florance O'Neal has been painting in watercolor since 2001 and began first by exploring the medium and its wondrous and challenging qualities. Later, she was able to approach her most desired subject-people. She completed "Molly Beth" in late 2006 and it was selected for the Northwest Watercolor Society show juried by Ron Ransom. In January 2008, she entered the Transparent Watercolor Society of America show juried by Ted Nuttall where it was one of 85 selected from a field of 900 entries for the May-June 2008 show in Bloomington, Minnesota. She lives in Kalispell, Montana.
